Asking People If They Have Invested In Cryptocurrencies
This is the second video of a series where we interview and talk to people regarding Bitcoin and their view on cryptocurrencies. TokenPay believes that the road to mass adoption lies within educating the general public about blockchain, cryptocurrency and it’s many advantages.
I would if I knew more about it! There’s not enough advertisement about it but if there was more, yeah I would. From what I’ve heard, yeah it’s a good investment idea. Why are you not investing in it? That sounds like I should and I don’t know why. Yes I do! I do invest in crypto currency. It’s a peer-to-peer network from one computer to your computer.
In America people use virtual currency. In a my industry people use crypto currency. I have not, never thought it’s gonna be so good. I would have early on but now that’s like over a thousand dollars a Bitcoin. I don’t think so. No, I have not. The words sketched out is I don’t really like. I mean, I’m not a person who even gambles either! So, have you invested in any kind of cryptocurrencies? I have not invested in any cryptocurrency.
I barely have any coins in my pocket. Cryptocurrency – another form of money, not backed by the US government. Do you invest in crypto currency or a bitcoin? No, I never would! No, because I saw it rise up real fast and come crashing down faster. I just don’t think average people will deal with it. I do know some businesses accept it which surprised me but I don’t know. Seems too risky to me.
I don’t know, you think can you keep it in a bank. I have no idea! It’s just electronic, says you have this much money. What if tomorrow it says you don’t have it or there’s some fraud or something? I have it, No. Just because I don’t know much about it. So if I was to invest in it, I’d like to do a lot more research and figure out how they get their money, how it goes up and down. It’s kind of like stocks I think but that’s the only reason I haven’t done it.
I have not. No, is there a reason why? I don’t know, you know, I don’t know enough about crypto coins to invest in this and I wouldn’t invest in something until I’ve done enough research. Just especially if it’s like electronic currency. Yes! You have? Yes, i have some bitcoins, some ethereum and a little bit lite coin, but I just thought it was a risk worth taking. A risk worth taking to where like there’s a huge future potential to where if the technology and like the price went so high because of the hype and like, Oh crazy!
You know, like there’s just so much talk about it. I think when the actual technology gets put to use, I think that’s when the price is like really gonna be seen. No I haven’t. Oh! There’s no particular reason really, I just thought I should have invested in it because now it’s really like it’s really boom! It’s the business for, so yeah I should have invested in it but at the time I didn’t. I’ll kind of regret it now because the people that did invest in it, now they make a lot of money. They have a lot of money now from actually investing in, so I wish I could invest but I didn’t.
Have you invested in cryptocurrencies? No, it just seemed like a really stupid thing to me. No, I’m kind of leery about investing something that has no back into it whatsoever. I mean it’s cryptocurrency, so it’s on back them monetary currencies. So there’s nothing I should do, government or anything actually backing this back by private investors and it’s bought online through online mining sources is my understanding or through just straight-up cash transactions.
I don’t understand the mechanism. I understand that there is a quarter of Bitcoin system, I understand that there really is bitcoins every certain time but I still don’t understand how it moves up or down and more so. Since it is all virtual, system can be hacked and keep and can be manipulated so you are sitting here. Again, if I have thousand bucks or half a million bucks to invest that I’m willing to lose, I have nothing to lose only to gain but I wouldn’t do it. Would I invest? No, I don’t understand enough about it to invest.
